The Bridle Suite
First exhibited in the stable buildings at The Leith Hall Estate, Aberdeenshire (National Trust), The Bridle Suite features a collection of upholstered pommel horses adorned with fine brocade, leather and horse hair. The work was produced in response to research into 'The Horseman's Word' during a residency period in Huntly with Deveron Arts.
The work was exhibited at Aberdeen Art Gallery and The Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh. Most of the work has since been destroyed but some of the works exist in public and private collections (Paisley Art Gallery; Glenfiddich Art Collection).
